What is an SBR Sewage Treatment Plant?

A Sequencing Batch Reactor is a fill-and-draw activated-sludge system. Instead of flowing continuously through separate tanks, sewage is treated in repeating time-based cycles within one reactor. The same basin fills, aerates, settles and decants in sequence — so a single tank does the work of several.
